Mrs Sloyan already had Solar Panels on her property’s roof, but she was looking to now become more sustainable by generating her own heat for her home. Our team calculated that a Thermal Earth Flat Plate Panel 2m² Solar Thermal panel would be enough to harvest the suns energy for the property. Once we installed, tested and commissioned Mrs Sloyan’s Solar Thermal system she was ready to generate hot water for the home via the suns energy whilst claiming on the renewable heat incentive.
After making an online enquiry with Hero, our team spoke to Mrs Sloyan on the phone and after we answered all her renewable questions, a site survey was booked on the property.
Our engineers got to work on the home in Summer of 2016, where they installed one Hero flate plate Solar thermal panel.
When Mrs Sloyan was provided an initial quotation by her project manager, we included a provisional return of investment of the project from the renewable heat incentive. The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (Domestic RHI) is a government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heat. Switching to heating systems that use eligible energy sources can help the UK reduce its carbon emissions and meet its renewable energy targets. Our team calculated that Mrs Sloyan would earn over £2,100 of payments and savings from the RHI over the course of 7 years.
Hero Renewables are an MCS accredited installer, and all our systems are designed and installed to MCS standards meaning your Solar Thermal installation will be eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive. The RHI pays you quarterly for using your Solar Thermal System for 7 years if you are a domestic customer and 20 years if you are a commercial customer.
